The We Remember You... website is operated by the Federation of Funeral Cooperatives of Québec and its partner cooperatives, hereafter designated “the FFCQ”.
Description of service
The FFCQ offers you to create a Memorial that include:
The cost of a Memorial depends on its duration:
| 1 year | $95 CAD plus applicable taxes |
| 5 years | $145 CAD plus applicable taxes |
| Unlimited | $245 CAD plus applicable taxes |
The Memorial thus created is normally activated within three (3) workable days of receipt of a copy of the death notice and the payment required. This 3-day period may occasionally be prolonged if there is a lot of traffic. An e-mail is sent to the owner of the Memorial when it is activated. This e-mail will contain a username as well as a password that permits the owner of the Memorial to modify its content at any time.
Those who opt for the one-year or five-year premium package will receive a renewal notice by e-mail one month before the package expires, requesting payment. If payment has not been received one month after expiry, the Memorial will be taken off the Website.

Confidentiality of information
The FFCQ undertakes not to disclose or sell any list of names or information, unless required to do so by application of the law or proceedings to that effect.
The information provided on the site is of course available to anyone. In no case will the FFCQ disclose or sell this list of data.
Responsibilities of the FFCQ
1. The FFCQ undertakes to provide at all times the best possible access to the site, whether for the client or the public.
2. The FFCQ will not be held liable for any temporary interruption of service related to a breakdown of the hosting provider or an internal programming problem.
3. In addition to backup copies with our host, the FFCQ regularly backs up all the registered data. Notwithstanding all these precautions, the FFCQ will in no case be held liable for losses of data and the unfortunate consequences thereof.
4. The FFCQ undertakes to reimburse in full any client dissatisfied with the service offered in the first 30 days following activation of the Memorial, less a $15 CAD administration fee.
5. All content on the client’s pages is reserved for personal use. No reproduction or publication for commercial purposes is authorized without the written consent of the client or the owner of the said content.
6. On the condition that the client honours his/her responsibilities, the FFCQ undertakes to provide access to the Memorials for the entire term of the agreement. Upon acceptance of the contract for a premium package, that package will be accessible as long as the We Remember You... website is online.
7. The FFCQ will not be held liable for any modification to personal pages made by a third party.
8. The FFCQ reserves the right to refuse an application or to remove pages that it considers detrimental to its image without prior notice.
Responsibilities of the client
1. The client undertakes to provide the exact information requested on the registration form. Once the client’s page is activated, the client becomes its sole owner and is responsible for its content. The client then receives a username and a password for which he/she shall be fully responsible. The client is obliged to informer the FFCQ of any change in coordinates.
2. The We Remember you... website has been produced in compliance with intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.). The FFCQ cannot be held liable for elements relating to such rights that are added in any fashion to a personal page. The client must therefore ensure that intellectual property rights are respected.
3. The FFCQ shall tolerate no comments that are obscene, racist or incite hatred, nor any other element that it considers unacceptable or that might be detrimental to the corporate image. The site administrators in no way control the content of the pages, but if they receive a complaint, the FFCQ reserves the right to remove any content that might be detrimental to our image, with no reimbursement.
4. The client undertakes to refrain from uploading executable files that might damage or harm the proper operation of the server or visitors’ computers.
Guarantee of satisfaction
The client has 30 days after opening an account to cancel the account with a full refund, less an administration fee of $15 CAD.
Rights of the FFCQ
The administrators of the We Remember You... website reserve the right to edit any text submitted for grammar and spelling. Moreover, they reserve the right to edit or refuse to publish in a Memorial any message or document whose content could be considered menacing, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, inciting to hatred, or otherwise reprehensible.
The administrators of the We Remember You... website have no obligation to research or investigate. Neither can they guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of the Memorials created. The evaluation, modification and acceptance of a Memorial by the site administrators are based solely on the texts and documents proposed and on the present editorial policy.
The FFCQ reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
Acceptance of contract
In subscribing to the We remember you... service, the client accepts and confirms having taken cognizance of these terms and conditions.
